Step into the world of vintage jazz as The Hot Sardines take the stage at Pinecrest Gardens on Saturday, November 2, as part of the 2024-2025 Jazz Series. Known for their dynamic performances that evoke the spirit of 1930s and ‘40s hot jazz, The Hot Sardines are known for their blend of brass, lively piano melodies and captivating vocals.
Led by pianist Evan Palazzo and vocalist Elizabeth Bougerol, the band’s sound is a fusion of New York speakeasies, Parisian cabarets and New Orleans jazz halls. Their latest album, French Fries & Champagne, showcases both covers and original tracks, from a sultry tango rendition of Rodgers & Hammerstein's People Will Say We’re in Love to a fresh take on Robert Palmer's Addicted to Love. Originals like Gramercy Sunset and Here You Are Again further highlight their versatility.
The performance will take place in the historic Banyan Bowl, an amphitheater renowned for its acoustics and geodesic dome.
Single tickets go on sale in September.
