As part of the 2024 Miami Book Fair, this event features producer Omer Pardillo Cid, founder of the Celia Cruz Foundation, who offers a detailed exploration of Cruz’s life and lasting impact on Caribbean music. Pardillo Cid, who worked closely with Cruz during her career, will provide rare insights into the personal and professional journey of the "Queen of Salsa." He will be joined by cultural journalist and film critic Alejandro Ríos for an engaging discussion on Cruz's enduring influence on the world of Latin music.
