H.O.T. Challenge Golf Tournament

Thank you for your continued support of the hospitality industry and the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau. Together we have overcome some tremendous challenges and, thanks to our collective efforts, our resilient destination is stronger than ever.

We are committed to sustaining that momentum by telling the story of our community through innovative marketing programs to ensure our continued success. That future is also dependent on developing a vibrant and diverse workforce, and that is why we are asking for your support.

For more than 31 years, the GMCVB has organized the Hospitality Open Tournament, better known as the H.O.T. Challenge, to benefit the Black Hospitality Initiative (BHI). With your help, we have raised more than $3 million to fund scholarships for African American students to study hospitality at local universities. This has allowed us to support more than 350 students, many of whom have gone on to become the tourism professionals of today.

Now more than ever, we need your continued and expanded support where possible, so please join us on May 17, 2024 at the JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa. In addition to supporting this amazing program, you will be able to experience best-in-class golf, high-profile networking and great food and drink. You will also have a chance to meet some of the students that you are impacting through your generous support.
