A Greener Wolfsonian: An FIU Student Showcase
This event has passed.
Art meets eco-conscious design at The Wolfsonian–FIU's upcoming event, A Greener Wolfsonian: An FIU Student Showcase. This free event on Friday, April 19, offers a glimpse into the creative minds of FIU's Department of Landscape Architecture students.
As The Wolfsonian plans its expansion, these future architects have been tasked with envisioning how the museum can incorporate green spaces into its design. The evening will feature a pop-up installation showcasing the models developed throughout the Spring 2024 semester under the guidance of Professor Simone Stark.
The schedule allows for an in-depth exploration of the student's ideas. From 6-6:30 p.m., there's a design open house, offering a chance to explore the models at your own pace. This is followed by student presentations from 6:30-7:15 p.m., where you can gain insights directly from the designers. Wrap up the evening with a reception from 7:15-8 p.m. and the opportunity to meet and discuss the designs with the student architects themselves.
