AMÉRICA VIVA! Gala Cocktail
Mar 12, 2025
Starting: 7:00 PM
Cultural luminaries from across the Americas gather for an evening of artistic celebration and philanthropic impact in the heart of Miami. The AMÉRICA VIVA! Gala Cocktail takes place on Wednesday, March 12 at the Adrienne Arsht Center.
This multicultural celebration features performances by Grammy-winning artist Aymée Nuviola and her band presenting a special tribute to Celia Cruz, alongside the New Land Dance Company, Miami Children's Chorus and the Latin Grammy Cultural Foundation Band. The evening unfolds across multiple spaces within the Arsht Center, beginning with a VIP red carpet from 6-7 p.m. in the Ziff Ballet Opera House Lobby, followed by a welcome cocktail from 7-8 p.m. at the Thomson Plaza for the Arts Upper Terrace and culminating with the gala ceremony from 8-11 p.m. at the Lower Terrace.
A highlight of the evening will be the presentation of the 2025 Inca Garcilaso Medal to organizations making significant cultural contributions. This year's honorees include the Celia Cruz Foundation, celebrating the legendary singer's centennial; the Latin Grammy Cultural Foundation, marking a decade of supporting Latin music talent; and the Miami Children's Chorus, commemorating 30 years of youth musical education.
Produced by the nonprofit New Land Theatricals with support from Baptist Health, ATR Luxury Homes and ADONEL Companies, the event emphasizes cultural unity and inclusiveness. Standing-room general admission tickets include complimentary drinks during cocktail hour and hors d'oeuvres while supplies last, though guests should note potential obstructed sightlines in this section. Cocktail chic attire is recommended for attendees.
