André Aciman is a celebrated author, known for his bestselling novel Call Me by Your Name and works like Out of Egypt and Find Me. His evocative prose and profound insights into love and longing have garnered him international acclaim. He's also the editor of The Proust Project and teaches comparative literature at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York.
James Woolley, a seasoned film festival professional with nearly two decades of experience, brings a global perspective to the conversation. Having led prestigious festivals like Frameline, the world's longest-running LGBTQ+ film festival, and played a key role in the rebranding of the Sydney Film Festival, Woolley possesses a deep understanding of festival management, programming and marketing. Now, at the helm of Miami's acclaimed Miami Film Festival, he's poised to leverage his expertise and vision to elevate the event to even greater heights.
