Renowned author and journalist Ta-Nehisi Coates will take the stage at the Adrienne Arsht Center on Tuesday, October 8, at 7:00 p.m. for an engaging discussion as part of the An Evening With series, presented in collaboration with the Books & Books Literary Foundation. Coates, a National Book Award winner and recipient of the MacArthur "genius grant," has made a significant impact through his work on race, history and culture. He is best known for his books Between the World and Me and The Water Dancer, both of which topped The New York Times Best Sellers list.
During this event, Coates will introduce his latest book, The Message, which explores themes of nationalism and historical reality through his travels to Senegal, Palestine and South Carolina. The conversation will be moderated by Pulitzer Prize-winning columnist Leonard Pitts, Jr. Each full-price ticket includes a copy of The Message, with additional ticket options available for shared book purchases.
