An Evening with Tina Spiro

An Evening with Tina Spiro takes place on Saturday, June 14, at 7 p.m., offering guests the opportunity to hear directly from the Jamaican-American artist as she discusses her new memoir, Good Morning Star Child.

Spiro’s book traces her five-decade journey across the global art world—from New York’s dynamic 1960s scene, where she trained as a classical painter and formed a close friendship with Andy Warhol, to a long creative residency in Jamaica. Her story also includes a decade in Miami, where she worked as an artist, educator and curator, specializing in Caribbean art and producing large-scale exhibitions that engaged environmental and humanitarian themes.
