Bas Fisher Invitational

Immerse yourself in a convergence of music, visual art and Miami cultural history. The Bas Fisher Invitational (BFI) celebrates its 20th anniversary on Saturday, February 1, at the Miami Beach Bandshell with an evening of multimedia performances and music.

MGMT's James Richardson headlines the event with a DJ set that bridges indie, Miami Bass and dance music. The performance draws from his previous collaboration with BFI's 2019 Coral Cross project. The venue's architecture serves as a canvas for projection-mapped video artworks by Coral Morphologic and Jen Stark, creating an immersive visual experience.

This celebration marks two decades of BFI's contributions to Miami's creative landscape since its founding in 2004. The artist-run organization has been instrumental in fostering connections within Miami's cultural community and presenting innovative artistic collaborations.

Attendees must be 21 and over. Additional performers and artists will be announced.
