In the film, racial tensions unfold during the hottest day of summer in Brooklyn's Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood, where simmering social issues come to a dramatic head.
The screening, taking place in room 279B, offers students and community members an opportunity to experience this influential work of American cinema that continues to resonate with contemporary discussions about race relations and social justice.
