Explore the vibrant coffee culture of Miami at Cafecito Compartido on Sunday, November 24, in the MAGIC Screening Room at Miami Dade College Wolfson Campus. This panel, part of the 2024 Miami Book Fair, showcases Ventanitas: A Window into Miami’s Coffee Culture, a work by Daniela Perez Miron with photography by Gesi Schilling. Through poetry, interviews and images, Ventanitas captures the significance of Miami’s coffee windows as spaces for conversation and connection. Schilling is joined by contributors Eileen Andrade, Carlos Frías, Tere Estorino and Mike Romeu, with the discussion moderated by Melody Santiago Cummings, executive director of O, Miami.
