Celebrate the Queen of Salsa at the Celia Cruz Centennial Celebration 1925 - 2025.

Pinecrest Gardens kicks off the Tropical Nights concert series' 2025 season with a tribute to the legendary Celia Cruz on Friday, January 31 and Saturday, February 1. Cuban artist Lucrecia will bring the iconic singer to life, accompanied by the Celia Cruz All Stars, in a performance that will transport you back to the golden era of Cuban music. Enjoy a night filled with the timeless rhythms of La Sonora Matancera.

The concert will take place in the historic Banyan Bowl Amphitheater, a venue known for its exceptional acoustics. Before the show, explore a special exhibition showcasing historical photographs, memorabilia and the famous Cucaracha Dress.

The Celia Cruz Centennial Celebration is a collaborative effort by the Celia Cruz Estate and the Celia Cruz Foundation. This event is part of a series of festivities honoring Celia's legacy and contributions to music, as her 100th birthday on October 21, 2025 approaches. Single show tickets go on sale in October.

About Lucrecia

Lucrecia, a renowned Cuban singer and pianist, began her musical journey at a young age, studying piano and music at the Instituto Superior de Arte de Cuba. Lucrecia's career highlights include collaborations with renowned artists like Celia Cruz, Paquito D'Rivera and Chano Domínguez. Her 2010 album Álbum de Cuba was nominated for a Latin Grammy Award, and she has received critical acclaim for her contributions to Latin music.
