Cintas Fellow Performance: José R. López

Enjoy an evening of music celebrating the contributions of Cuban composers to the contemporary classical repertoire. The Cintas Fellow Performance: José R. López will take place on Friday, March 28 at the Coral Gables Museum, featuring interpretations of works by notable Cuban and Cuban-American composers.

José R. López, an Associate Professor at Florida International University and accomplished pianist, will perform pieces by Aurelio de la Vega, Orlando J. García, Tania León and other significant composers connected to the Cintas Fellowship program. This concert highlights the artistic legacy of the Cintas Foundation, which has supported the creative achievements of Cuban artists across multiple disciplines since its establishment.

The performance offers an opportunity to experience the innovative musical compositions that have emerged from the Cuban diaspora, interpreted by a musician with deep knowledge of this repertoire. This event is open to the public with free admission.
