Coastal Conservation Education Workshop

Learn about coastal conservation and seed starting at the Miami Beach Botanical Garden.
The Miami Beach Botanical Garden and the Institute for Regional Conservation, with support from Miami Beach Rising Above, are hosting a Coastal Conservation Education Workshop on Saturday, August 3. Participants of all ages are welcome. No prior experience is required.
What you'll learn:
- The importance of coastal conservation
- How to identify native coastal plants
- The role of biodiverse dune systems in storm protection
- Seed starting techniques
Hands-on workshop:
Participants will have the opportunity to participate in a hands-on seed-starting workshop and learn different seeding techniques.

- Hat
- Sunglasses
- Close-toed shoes

Sign up in advance or email the IRC coordinator at ldutra@regionalconservation.org. A confirmation email with event details will be sent to registered participants on the day before the event.
