Discover the intersection of music and visual art at COVERS NIGHT: An Exhibition of Music Cover Art on Friday, December 6, at Sweat Records in Little Haiti. This retrospective showcases 15 years of music cover art created by mixed media artist Richard Vergez, featuring designs for vinyl, cassette and CD sleeves. Highlights include cover art for local bands like Torche and Mr. Entertainment & the Pookiesmackers, international artists and works from Vergez’s own label, Noir Age.
The evening includes an artist talk by Vergez and live performances by The Divided Body and Mr. Entertainment & the Pookiesmackers. Admission is free, and all ages are welcome to attend.
