Feb 13, 2025
From: 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Discover the timeless art of preserving nature's beauty while creating a personalized keepsake. Crafting Pressed Flower Frames, part of the AgriCulture Nights series at Vizcaya Village, takes place on Thursday, February 13 in the Vizcaya Village Garage.
Led by pressed flowers artist Anyi Botteri, founder of ayni, this hands-on workshop guides participants through the process of designing and assembling their own framed artwork using preserved blooms. Attendees can bring a personal 4x6 inch photograph to frame in their pressed flower creations.
The workshop provides all necessary materials, including various pressed flowers, artisan paper, a wood frame (20x25cm) and assembly tools. Botteri, who brings her creative expertise from the film and music video industry, offers continuous guidance throughout the session.
This event is part of Vizcaya's monthly AgriCulture Nights: Connect & Create series, which explores the relationship between people and plants through creative activities. Taking place exclusively in Vizcaya Village, the estate's historic farm village, tickets are $10 for adults and free for children 12 and under. Please note that this workshop does not include access to Vizcaya's Main House and gardens.
