Experience the magic of Disney’s The Little Mermaid, reimagined in a new production, at The Shops at Sunset Place. Area Stage Company has teamed up with Loxen Productions to create a sleeker, shorter version in a newly designed immersive space. The performances are scheduled on select dates from July 11 to August 11.
Guests will be transported to a mystical seaside tavern, where Ariel and Prince Eric's love story unfolds around them amidst tales of mermaids and adventure. This production is based on Hans Christian Andersen's timeless story and the classic animated film by the same name. Disney's The Little Mermaid features music by eight-time Academy Award winner Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Glenn Slater and a book by Doug Wright.
