Connect with Miami's Spanish-language literary scene through an intimate afternoon of storytelling and dialogue. DORCAM Book Club: La Literatura de Miami welcomes guests on Saturday, January 25, from 3:30 - 6:30 p.m. at the Doral Contemporary Art Museum (DORCAM).
Acclaimed author Camilo Pino moderates this Spanish-language gathering, featuring special guest José Ignacio "Chascas" Valenzuela Güiraldes, the celebrated Chilean writer and screenwriter. The session offers attendees insight into the creative process and thematic elements of contemporary Hispanic literature.
The event also provides an opportunity to explore Miami's independent publishing landscape, with four local publishers—Ediciones Furtivas, Katakana Editores, Suburbano Ediciones and Alliteration Publishing—presenting their literary catalogs for browsing and purchase.
