Dover Quartet: Chamber Music Series

On Monday, February 10, 2025, the renowned Dover Quartet will take the stage at the Newman Recital Hall, Knight Center for Innovation, as part of the Frost School of Music’s Signature Series. This two-time GRAMMY-nominated ensemble, hailed as one of the greatest string quartets of the last century by BBC Music Magazine, has earned prestigious accolades, including the Avery Fisher Career Grant and top prizes at the Fischoff Chamber Music Competition. 

The evening's program includes a compelling mix of chamber music, featuring Strum by Jessie Montgomery, Janacek’s Quartet No. 1 (“Kreutzer Sonata”), Dvorak’s Quartet in F major, Op. 96 (“American”) and Tchaikovsky’s Quartet No. 1 in D major, Op. 11.
