Eco Fest: A Climate Action Carnival
This event has passed.
Take action for the planet at Vizcaya's Eco Fest.
Join Vizcaya Museum and Gardens for a fun and educational evening at Eco Fest: A Climate Action Carnival on Wednesday, May 22 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. This event, organized by Vizcaya's Teen Environmental Council (VTEC), is part of the museum's Climate Collaborative Series.
Eco Fest offers a variety of activities for all ages:
- Test your environmental knowledge, watch inspiring VTEC videos and meet with scientists and advocates.
- Collaborate on a community art project symbolizing coral reef restoration and build a vertical garden using recycled materials.
- Play an eco-conscious card game to meet new people and explore ways to get involved in environmental causes.
- Embark on an Eco Fest adventure, collecting stamps in your passport for each activity and earning a special prize.
The carnival takes place outdoors on Vizcaya's picturesque East Terrace with views of Biscayne Bay. Refreshments will be available for purchase from the Vizcaya Cafe.
Enjoy free admission with a donation. In support of Buddy System's community fridge initiative, Vizcaya offers free admission (one adult or one child) for every three donated non-perishable food items.
Eco Fest is a collaborative effort supported by various organizations working on environmental issues, including Miami Waterkeeper, The Cleo Institute, Coral Restoration Foundation, Miam-Dade County Department of Environmental Resources Management, Dream in Green and Buddy System.
