The Arsht Center's Family Fest series presents The Busy Bees' Great Adventure, a new musical production designed to inspire young audiences about environmental responsibility. This original work, created by Miami-based playwright Ashlee K. Thomas and composer Nico Raimont, tells the story of the Busy Bees, a group of bees facing the challenges of climate change.
Through music, storytelling and creative problem-solving, the Busy Bees demonstrate the importance of water conservation, energy efficiency and sustainable consumption. The show highlights how individual actions can have a significant impact on the environment and encourages young people to become responsible environmental citizens.
Directed by musical-theater educator Tanisha Cidel, The Busy Bees' Great Adventure is a fresh and engaging family-friendly performance. Admission is free, but first-access passes are required.
