Mar 01, 2025
From: 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM
Experience the wonders of science while making a meaningful impact in the community. The inaugural Family FUNraiser at the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science takes place Saturday, March 1, offering exclusive early access and special programming to support science education initiatives.
Visitors will enjoy demonstrations and live science shows on the museum's fifth floor, including access to the innovative Bugs Kitchen Lab. The event also features early entry to Bugs, an immersive exhibition created by the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa in collaboration with Weta Workshop Limited.
Led by Host Committee co-chairs Tanvi Vattikuti Abbhi, Devon Aoki Bailey, Oana Reedy and Kara Zeder Rosen, this fundraising event aims to expand science education accessibility for underserved communities throughout the region. Proceeds will help provide museum access to those who may not otherwise have the opportunity to experience hands-on science learning.
Admission is $99 for adults and children ages 4 and up (SPIDER level), with a group package option of four tickets available at $350 (BUTTERFLIES level). Children ages 0-3 receive free admission but require a ticket for entry. For additional information, contact the advancement team at advancement@frostscience.org or (305) 434-9596.
