Celebrate the season with the FIU Masterworks Holiday Concert on Friday, December 6, at the FIU Herbert and Nicole Wertheim Performing Arts Center. Featuring performances by the FIU Symphony Orchestra and the FIU Jazz Big Band, this festive event includes Duke Ellington’s Nutcracker Suite, a jazz reinterpretation of Tchaikovsky’s holiday classic, alongside a selection of holiday favorites. Under the direction of conductor Aldo Salvent, the performance offers a fresh take on a holiday classic.
