Discover the stories behind Miami’s vibrant past at Free Family Fun Day: All About History! on Saturday, February 8, at HistoryMiami Museum. This family-friendly event offers hands-on activities, storytelling and a unique theatrical experience highlighting the city’s cultural evolution.
In partnership with Juggerknot Theatre Company, the event features Miami Bus Stories: Tropical Dreams, an interactive exploration of Miami’s history, running from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Families will journey through the museum’s Tropical Dreams exhibition, encountering live actors portraying historical figures and events that shaped neighborhoods like Overtown, Little Havana and Homestead. This immersive experience provides a dynamic way to connect with Miami’s diverse communities and rich legacy.
Activities for children and families will be available throughout the day, making it an engaging experience for all ages. Admission is free, and the event is open to the public.
