GenderChill: Gender Justice Fashion Show
This event has passed.
Experience an uplifting evening in celebration of queerness, gender-fluid fashion and the inclusion of all body types and identities on Friday, November 17. GenderChill returns to the FIU Biscayne Campus for the second year in a row with an all-inclusive, queer fashion show featuring student and community fashion designers, make-up artists, stylists, models, performers, and guest speakers, as well as local and national advocates. The event will also include awareness-building educational materials and resources to educate our local South Florida community around issues related to gender identity and expression, and the priceless value of diversity. This year's edition is being held in honor of International Transgender Day of Remembrance (annually held on November 20).
Light catering and mocktails will be served during the event
Supporters and allies will be invited to donate to local non-profit Reflect Collective, an organization supporting Queer, Trans, and POC (QTPOC) survivors of sexual and domestic violence in South Florida.
GenderChill is presented by Pride Student Union and producer of GenderChill Jess Osborn, with a grant from The Our Fund Foundation, an LGBTQ community foundation.
