Hexed Miami World Goth Day Celebration

Miami’s goth community comes together for a full weekend of live music, DJs and darkwave celebration at Bar Nancy. Hexed Miami World Goth Day Celebration returns on Saturday, May 17, and Sunday, May 18, honoring World Goth Day with two nights of performances and afterparties.

Saturday kicks off with live sets from Diavol Strain (Chile), known for their moody gothic rock and darkwave sounds; Obsidian from Fort Lauderdale blending post-punk, death rock and gothic textures; Miss FD delivering synthpop and atmospheric darkwave; and Sina Matix, celebrating a new industrial/EBM release. After the bands, DJs Dino and Vampoison take over for Malicia Goth Nights, spinning past and present darkwave, post-punk, nu goth, industrial and EBM tracks until 3 a.m.

Sunday’s lineup features synth and darkwave artist Feyleux (NC), Miami’s own industrial project Retractor, and local gothic rock veterans Life in Sodom. DJ Heathen will close out the weekend with a late-night afterparty set.

Giveaways, a photo booth and community vibes round out the weekend. Doors open at 8 p.m. on Saturday and 7 p.m. on Sunday. The event is 21+ and early arrival is encouraged to catch the full lineup.
