Experience the vibrant sounds of America's original art form as acclaimed musicians gather for a celebration of jazz heritage. The International Jazz Month Concert will take place Friday, April 4 at the Black Archives Historic Lyric Theater, featuring a stellar lineup of performers. Presented by the Sunshine Jazz Organization, this performance brings together acclaimed artists including saxophonist Melton Mustafa Jr., vocalist Val Woods, bluesman Mojo Ike and saxophonist Jessie Jones Jr. Each musician brings their unique interpretation and style to the stage, highlighting the diversity and innovation that define jazz.
The Sunshine Jazz Organization (SJO) has been a cornerstone of Miami's music scene since 1986, dedicated to promoting jazz performance, education and awareness throughout the community. This non-profit organization creates accessible cultural experiences by offering most events free or at minimal cost, making world-class jazz available to audiences of all ages.
