Jazz at The Betsy: New Year's Eve Music

Celebrate the arrival of the New Year with live jazz in the heart of South Beach. On Tuesday, December 31, join Jazz at the Betsy: New Year’s Eve Music for an evening filled with memorable performances at The Piano Bar. The event features two captivating sets of live jazz, showcasing a mix of styles. Best of all, it's open to all with no cover charge or minimum requirement.

From 5 to 9 p.m., enjoy an early dinner set to the smooth sounds of the Liset Alea Duo. Liset Alea, a Cuban-American singer, composer and multi-instrumentalist known for her work with Nouvelle Vague, brings her sultry voice and multilingual talents to the stage. She'll be performing alongside a guitarist.

As the night progresses, the music shifts to the later dining session from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m., featuring the soulful vocalist LeNard Rutledge with the Jim Gasior Trio. Rutledge, a Miami native, has earned recognition for his smooth voice and stage presence. His performance, often compared to the legendary Lou Rawls, is accompanied by the skilled Jim Gasior Trio, led by pianist Jim Gasior, whose extensive career includes performances with artists such as Ricky Martin and Michael Bolton.
