Immerse yourself in an intimate Valentine's Day jazz experience where virtuosity meets creative expression in Miami's premier listening room. Jazz Encounters presents acclaimed trumpeter Anthony Hervey at the WDNA Jazz Gallery on Friday, February 14, offering an evening of innovative jazz performance followed by an interactive jam session.
As a Berklee graduate and mentee of Wynton Marsalis, Hervey brings his distinctive blend of traditional and modern jazz approaches to Miami's premier jazz venue. The performance showcases his original compositions and improvisational talent.
The evening begins at 7:30 p.m. with doors opening for this limited-seating event. Following Hervey's main performance at 8 p.m., musicians are invited to participate in an open jazz jam session starting at 9:30 p.m.
Tickets are available at three levels: $40 for general admission, $30 for WDNA members with valid membership ID, and free admission for students with valid identification. All proceeds support WDNA 88.9FM, contributing to the sustainability of Miami's jazz programming and cultural development.
