José Negroni presents Del Son al Flamenco

Experience a captivating musical journey through the sounds of Cuba, Puerto Rico and Spain at the Koubek Center. On Saturday, February 8, José Negroni presents Del Son al Flamenco, featuring Puerto Rican-Spanish singer Ana del Rocío, Cuban singer Freddy Lugo and flamenco dancer La Merche, accompanied by percussion.

The concert brings together celebrated musicians, including Federico Britos (violin), Nomar Negroni (drums) and Rafael Valencia (bass), all recognized by the Latin and American Grammy Academies. Under the direction of three-time Grammy nominee José Negroni, this performance honors the timeless artistry of legends such as Tito Rodríguez, Olga Guillot, Benny Moré, Lola Flores and Rocío Jurado.

This event is part of Miami-Dade County Auditorium’s Away From Home Series, which continues to bring dynamic performances to alternative venues during the auditorium’s renovation. The series showcases dance, theater and music across South Florida’s cultural spaces, ensuring the performing arts remain vibrant and accessible.
