Join the Miami International Piano Festival for an evening of exceptional music, as part of the annual Discovery Series lineup. Known for her outstanding talent and fearless virtuosity, German/Russian pianist Kristina Miller will perform at The Wolfsonian - FIU on January 25. Program details will be announced closer to the date.
Miller, born in 1986 in Moscow, began her musical journey at an early age. She made her debut performance of Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 23 with an orchestra at just eight years old. After studying at the special music school in St. Petersburg and winning prestigious prizes, including the Berlin International Piano Competition in 1999, she continued to rise in prominence. Her performances have graced concert halls across Europe, the U.S., Australia and South America, working with renowned orchestras like the Vienna Chamber Orchestra, Israel Camerata Jerusalem and the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra.
Kristina Miller’s studies at St. Petersburg State Conservatory and Munich Music University further honed her craft, earning her Master of Music degrees with distinction. Her career has seen performances at notable venues such as the Berliner Philharmonie, Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, and Sala Sao Paulo, alongside collaborations with top-tier artists.
