La Descarga con Albita: Halloween Concert

Havana-born singer, composer and producer Albita brings Cuban rhythms to the Westchester Cultural Arts Center, for a Halloween edition of La Descarga con Albita, on Saturday, October 26. Doors open at 8 p.m., followed by the performance at 9 p.m. Renowned for her high-energy and authentic take on Cuban music, Albita peforms a diverse repertoire that blends genres like rumba, mambo, son, Afro-Cuban and folk. Attendees are encouraged to dress in their Halloween costumes.

A two-time Grammy winner and Emmy recipient, Albita has been praised for her contribution to reviving traditional Cuban music. Since arriving in Miami in 1993, she has taken her performances around the world, sharing the stage with legends like Celia Cruz, Tito Puente and Juan Luis Guerra.
