L'immortel Dany Laferrière en Tournée à Miami

Engage with one of Haiti's most celebrated literary voices as he shares insights into his creative journey and influential body of work. Dany Laferrière, an acclaimed writer and member of the French Academy, will be at the Little Haiti Cultural Complex on Saturday, March 29, with doors opening at 4:10 p.m.
This free cultural event offers a rare opportunity to meet Laferrière during his tour of Miami. The evening begins with an exhibition and sale from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m., followed by Laferrière's conference from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., where he will discuss his literary career and creative process.
After the presentation, attendees can join a cocktail reception and book signing session from 8:30 to 9:00 p.m., providing a chance for personal interaction with the author. The evening continues until 11:00 p.m. with a warm, home-style atmosphere featuring music by Strings.
Organized by the Consulate General of Haiti in Miami in collaboration with Francophone partners, this event is part of Laferrière's broader Miami tour running from March 26 to 31, 2025.
