Kick off the Year of the Dragon at the Lunar New Year Fortune Run 5K/10K/13.1 on Saturday, February 1, at Playita in Key Biscayne, just across from the Miami Marine Stadium. This community-focused event invites participants of all paces and ages to celebrate the Lunar New Year through a relaxed, supportive run or walk in a scenic waterfront setting.
The run, organized in small waves to ensure an intimate and stress-free experience, highlights the values of unity, renewal, and good fortune. Participants will receive commemorative mini lanterns at the finish line to honor the occasion. With no timing chips, this low-pressure event allows runners to track their progress via personal apps or with the help of on-site coordinators.
Registration includes a swag bag featuring a running T-shirt, finisher’s towel or giveaway, medal, and training pack, with optional upgrades like technical running shirts or a custom marble plaque. Swag is conveniently shipped directly to participants within the U.S., making race day hassle-free. For those who can’t attend in person, virtual run options are available.
