Mini-Me Science: Everglades Connection Part 2 Into the Wild
Mar 16, 2025
From: 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM
Young explorers and their families can embark on a hands-on adventure through one of Florida's most unique ecosystems. The second part of Mini-Me Science: Everglades Connection takes place on Sunday, March 16, at the Ernest F. Coe Visitor Center in Everglades National Park.
This 2.5-hour program offers early learners ages two to five an opportunity to experience the Everglades firsthand, complementing their previous museum-based learning session. Families will explore a boardwalk path through the park, discovering conservation efforts and natural wonders as part of an early Earth Month celebration. A covered area, snacks and water will be provided for participants' comfort.
The program takes place at 40001 State Hwy 9336 in Homestead, where families will meet with Frost Science staff. Strollers or wagons are recommended for the outdoor portion of the experience. While attendance at both parts of the series is encouraged for optimal learning, this session can be enjoyed independently.
Admission is $70 for one child and two adults, with additional children at $40 each and extra adults at $10 per person. Registration includes detailed program information.
