This event has passed.
weekly on Wednesday
The Museum of Art and Design (MOAD) at Miami Dade College will host a residency with mixed media artist Ema Ri from September 18 to October 16. During this period, Ri will create new work within the newly renovated gallery space on the Padrón Campus.
The public is invited to observe the artist's process during open studio hours, held every Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. This studio visit allows visitors to engage directly with Ri and gain insight into his creative practice.
Ema Ri's work is characterized by its exploration of materiality and abstraction, often drawing from personal experiences to examine themes of displacement and deconstruction.
