Jan 24, 2025
From: 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM
Witness the raw creativity of Miami's graffiti culture with an exclusive black book session featuring legendary artists from the local scene. MSG Black Book Night takes over the Museum of Graffiti on Friday, January 24, bringing together members of the influential Miami Style Graffiti (MSG) Crew, including CHNK, WHIE, KOMIK and PUCHO.
This interactive evening offers attendees the opportunity to sketch alongside veteran graffiti writers who have shaped South Florida's street art landscape since the mid-1990s. The event features live custom t-shirt printing by Cushy Gigs and an all-vinyl soundtrack provided by DJ Don Shula, creating an authentic atmosphere that captures the spirit of graffiti culture.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own markers and black books, though materials will be available for purchase at the museum's gift shop. Monster Energy sponsors this free event, which includes complimentary drinks for attendees.
The MSG Crew, now comprising over 50 active members worldwide, has evolved from a small collective into a globally recognized force in street art. Their distinctive style, influenced by Miami's vibrant culture, encompasses everything from elaborate murals to traditional street pieces, representing three decades of artistic innovation in the graffiti movement.
