MUVE Singles Workday
Mar 22, 2025
From: 09:00 AM to 11:00 AM
Discover like-minded environmentalists while helping restore one of Miami's vital coastal ecosystems. The MUVE Singles Volunteer Workday takes place on Saturday, March 22 at Virginia Key Beach North Point. This community event, presented by Miami Climate 365 and the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science, invites participants to engage in conservation work by planting sea oats to strengthen the beach dune system.
As part of Miami Climate Week's event lineup, this volunteer opportunity combines environmental stewardship with social connection. Participants will work together to revitalize Virginia Key's beach dune through nature-based volunteerism, with all necessary tools and materials provided. Volunteers are advised to bring a reusable water bottle, wear closed-toe shoes and clothes suitable for outdoor work and apply sun protection.
The MUVE Singles Volunteer Workday offers an ideal setting for meeting fellow Miamians who share a passion for environmental conservation. While designed with single participants in mind, friends of any relationship status are welcome to join in building a healthier shoreline. Advance registration is required to secure a spot.
