National Chopin Piano Competition: Preliminary Semifinals

The Chopin Foundation of the United States brings America’s finest young pianists to the Robert and Judi Prokop Newman Recital Hall. Hosted by the Frost School of Music, the 11th National Chopin Piano Competition begins its preliminary rounds and celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2025.
From January 4 to 9, the preliminary and semifinal rounds will showcase 24 pianists performing recitals across afternoon and evening sessions. The competition, held at the state-of-the-art Knight Center for Music Innovation, offers audiences a chance to hear captivating performances of Chopin’s works in an intimate setting.
