National Water Dance

Gather on the sands of Crandon Park Beach for a celebration of nature and a call to action to protect our waters at the 6th edition of the nationwide National Water Dance. On Saturday, April 20, multiple dance companies, musicians and visual artists from across the country will converge at Marjory Stoneman Douglas Bicayne Nature Center to perform a site-specific dance. Presented by NWD Projects and Life Arts Miami, this year's event showcases some of Miami's most esteemed dance companies, including NWD Projects, Dance Now! Miami, Olujimi Dance Collective, Karen Peterson & Dancers, Jubilation Dance Ensemble, and more. The program also features a spoken word performance by Arsimmer McCoy and a special appearance by Miami Sound Choir.
Festivities commence at 3:00 p.m. with a Dream in Green Eco-Summit and pre-show activities, leading into the National Water Dance at 4:00 p.m. Attendees are invited to partake in a Debris Free Oceans beach cleanup at 5:00 p.m., followed by a relaxing sunset Happy Hour at 6:00 p.m.
