Korean textile tradition takes center stage in this solo exhibition by artist Ilhan Kim, where the time-honored craft of Bojagi is reimagined through the lens of contemporary hand embroidery. The show highlights the aesthetic and cultural significance of this iconic wrapping cloth, offering a fresh perspective on one of Korea’s most celebrated art forms.
Opening the Window on Korea's Most Iconic Textile Tradition: Bojagi will be on view at Gato Gordo Gallery from March 22 through March 29. The exhibition launches with a public opening reception on Saturday, March 22, from 6 to 9 p.m.
