SWWIM Poetry: Chloe Martinez & Ximena Gómez

Experience an evening of poetry and dialogue featuring Chloe Martinez and Ximena Gómez at The Betsy-South Beach Library. Hosted by SWWIM as part of its ongoing series, this free event will take place on Thursday, April 10, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.

Chloe Martinez, a poet, translator and scholar of South Asian religions, is the author of Ten Thousand Selves and Corner Shrine. Her work has appeared in Ploughshares, POETRY, and Prairie Schooner, among others. She is currently based at Claremont McKenna College.

Ximena Gómez, a Colombian poet and translator, is known for works such as Habitación con moscas and Último día / Last Day. Her poetry and translations have been widely published, and she has received recognition as a finalist for the Gabo Prize in Translation and the Paz Prize.
