Tai Allen Trio

Gather oceanside for an open air concert at the free, weekly Ocean Drive Promenade Music Series. On Sunday, February 9, the Tai Allen Trio will perform at Lummus Park, beginning at 5 p.m.

A multi-talented artist, Tai Allen brings his diverse background as a poet, vocalist, musician and producer to the stage with performances that blend jazz, blues and soul. His repertoire includes both classics and lesser-known B-sides, along with original compositions and innovative musical arrangements. Allen's impressive performance history includes appearances at prestigious venues such as the Apollo Theater's Music Café, the National Black Writers Conference and Blue Note.

This free event takes place on the lawn between 14th Street and 14th Place. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets, chairs, and picnics to enjoy the performance. In case of rain, the concert will move indoors to The Betsy Hotel.
