Discover the connections between Miami and Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) through the lens of music. On Thursday, September 19 at Clarke Recital Hall, ethnomusicologist Fredara Hadley, Professor of Ethnomusicology at The Juilliard School, will present an informative talk exploring the history of the Orange Blossom Classic, Miami marching band traditions and the musical contributions of Florida Memorial College.
