The Femmy Awards
Mar 27, 2025
Starting: Midnight
Recognize the achievements of women shaping the future of electronic music at a first-of-its-kind awards ceremony in a picturesque waterfront setting. The Femmys takes place Thursday, March 27, beginning at midnight at Palm Tree Club in North Bay Village as an exciting addition to Miami Music Week.
Presented through a collaboration between LP Giobbi's non-profit organization FEMME HOUSE and Billboard, this inaugural awards celebration spotlights influential women across all sectors of dance music. The evening honors trailblazers whose contributions span production, engineering, DJing, executive leadership and industry innovation.
The 2025 honorees include:
- Sara Landry receives Producer of the Year recognition for her groundbreaking sound design and technical expertise
- DJ Lady D is celebrated for her 35-year reign as "Chicago's House Music Queen"
- Detroit techno pioneer DJ Minx, founder of Women on Wax, is acknowledged for championing diversity
- Iconic vocalists Barbara Tucker and Crystal Waters share the Voice of House Award for their generation-defining contributions
Palm Tree Club provides an ideal backdrop for this celebration, with its Biscayne Bay views and reputation as a dance music destination. The venue, formerly Shuckers Waterfront Bar & Grill, has been transformed into a vibrant space by Norwegian DJ/producer Kygo and manager Myles Shear as part of their Palm Tree Crew lifestyle brand.
Beyond recognizing individual achievements, the event serves as a fundraiser with all proceeds supporting FEMME HOUSE's educational programs, mentorship initiatives and professional development opportunities for underrepresented artists in dance music.
This intimate gathering brings together artists, industry professionals and fans in celebration of those driving greater equity and representation throughout electronic music. Limited tickets available and there is an 18+ admission policy.
