Things Swap at Laundromat Art Space

A community swap meet offers an opportunity to find new treasures while giving pre-loved items a second life. Things Swap at Laundromat Art Space takes place on Saturday, April 19, from noon to 3 p.m. at the Little Haiti arts venue.
This collaborative event, organized by The Things Lab and Miami Time Swap, encourages participants to share up to 10 gently used items (excluding clothing) that are clean, functional and ready for a new home. Visitors can also attend without bringing items to swap by making a Pay What You Value tax-deductible donation to The Things Lab's Things Swaps fund.
In addition to exchanging objects, attendees can sign up with Miami Time Swap, a local time-based trade economy, to connect with others who offer various services. The event promotes sustainability by ensuring that leftover items will be donated to a local thrift store, though participants are welcome to reclaim any of their unclaimed donations.
