Mar 08, 2025
From: 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Engage in environmental action while connecting with local conservation partners at Miami's iconic waterfront venue. Ultra Music Festival's Mission:Home | Making Waves | Shore Cleanup takes place on Saturday, March 8 at Bayfront Park, offering participants an opportunity to contribute to shoreline restoration in advance of the renowned music festival.
This collaborative cleanup brings together several prominent environmental organizations including Clean Miami Beach, Debris Free Oceans, Bye Bye Plastic Foundation, Miami Dade Sea Turtles Conservation Program, Love The Everglades Movement and Pelican Harbor Seabird Station. Participants will receive educational information from these conservation groups while actively removing debris from the shoreline.
The event is part of Ultra Music Festival's broader Mission: Home environmental initiative launched in 2019, which focuses on reducing environmental impact and promoting sustainability. Since its inception, the program has reached over 6.5 million people with its conservation message.
Volunteers will gather near the fountain at Bayfront Park, identifiable by tents and a turtle flag. The organizers will provide sanitized garden gloves, buckets and pickers, though participants may bring their own equipment if preferred. Close-toed shoes are mandatory for safety, and attendees should bring reusable water containers, as refill stations will be available.
All participants will receive complimentary Ultra merchandise and have a chance to win two tickets to Ultra Music Festival 2025. Community service hours will be documented for those who need them, and the event welcomes volunteers of all ages.
Nearby parking is available at Bayside Marketplace (401 Biscayne Blvd) or beneath the Biscayne Boulevard guardrail and metro mover.
