Mar 27, 2025
From: 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM
A community-based environmental initiative invites residents to contribute to Miami's urban green spaces through active participation and service. The Urban Forestry Plan Launch and Tree Planting takes place on Thursday, March 27, at Tamiami Park.
Presented by Miami Climate 365, this hands-on event combines practical conservation work with the introduction of a broader urban forestry strategy. Participants will help install mature trees throughout the park while also cleaning up plant debris and litter from the grounds.
Park staff will provide all necessary equipment including work gloves and tools for those taking part in the planting and cleanup efforts. The event is free to attend, but advance registration through Park Link is required to participate.
This activity represents an opportunity for community members to make a tangible contribution to Miami's environmental resilience while learning about larger urban forestry initiatives. It forms part of Miami Climate Week™, a dynamic series of events bringing the community together to drive bold solutions in climate action, resilience and innovation—offering a week of education, collaboration and meaningful change.
