V on 40 Years of Reckoning

Tony Award-winning playwright and bestselling author V (formerly Eve Ensler) will present her latest work Reckoning on Saturday, November 23, at 10:00 AM at Miami Dade College Wolfson Campus as part of the 2024 Miami Book Fair program. This deeply introspective memoir spans 40 years of V’s life and creative process, exploring the personal and political themes that have shaped her global activism. Drawing from her lifelong journals, Reckoning blends prose, poetry, dreams and essays, offering insight into how V navigated abuse, self-hatred and the creation of global movements.

V is best known for her groundbreaking work The Vagina Monologues, which has been performed worldwide. She is also the founder of V-Day, the global activist movement to end violence against women and girls, and One Billion Rising, the largest global mass action to end gender-based violence in over 200 countries.
