Walk, Talk, and Coffee Social

Start your morning on a positive note with Walk, Talk, and Coffee Social at The Underline Brickell Stage on Thursday, November 21, from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m. This Give Miami Day event offers an opportunity to connect with others, enjoy light refreshments and engage in a 2-mile roundtrip walk that highlights The Underline's mission to enhance regional mobility, resilience and community spaces.

Participants will gather at 7:30 a.m. at The Underline Brickell Stage, located at SW 8th Street and SW 1st Ave, for coffee, light bites and a warm social welcome. The walk, starting at 8:00 a.m., includes stops where key members of The Underline team will share insights on the project’s impact. Meet horticulturist Asha Bertsch, who will discuss the role of native plants in Miami’s ecosystem, and founder Meg Daly, who will speak on the project's community-driven history and philanthropic goals. CIO Jake Moskowitz will also highlight The Underline’s use of technology to connect neighborhoods and enhance the visitor experience.

This free event encourages donations to Friends of The Underline to support ongoing free programming. Plan to arrive by 7:15 a.m., and come prepared with comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen and a hat for this outdoor experience.
